Girls Night In

Our Girls Night In was a rather witchy affair and we all had lots of fun.  It was great to socialise, scrap, gossip, munch away on yummy food and sip champagne while we were raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council.  Curves, the new gym that has just opened in Mareeba, donated breast exam kits for all the ladies who came along.  The girls were a bit worried when I offered to show them how to use the kits LOL.  Here are some photos

Melbourne Cup

 We will be holding our Melbourne Cup Race Day again on Tuesday, 4 November 2008 from 11.30am to 3.30pm.  Join us for some fun, scrapbooking, games and to watch the BIG RACE.  Wear a hat and bring a plate of food to share.  We will have a Lucky door prize, Best Hat competition, Cup Sweeps and more.  

Girls Night In

We are holding a Girls Night In again to raise funds for the Cancer Council.  This year's event will be held on Friday, 31 October from 7pm till Midnight, with a Halloween theme.  Come in your Halloween costumes or face paint and bring your spooky photos to scrap.  A gold coin fine will be payable to the Cancer Council by anyone in "plain clothes". Please bring a plate to share and we'll provide the drinks.  We will have lots of fun, games, cropping, a lucky door prize & 10% off everything in store.  As a take on Trick or Treat, we're asking everyong to bring a little goodie bag of scrapbook or tasty treats to the value of $5.00 to swap.  This can be stuff in your stash you no longer want or need.  $10 entry, fines and 5% of all sales will be donated to the Cancer Council.  Here we all are at our last fundraiser.

Teina's Basic Classes for October

Teina has two gorgeous classes coming up this month.  Our Boy on 14 October will teach you how to use a Cropodile and paper pleating.  Her class on 28 October will have you scrapping some of last year's Christmas photos before Christmas is upon us again.  Check the gallery for pictures.

School Holiday Classes

We will be holding School Holiday Classes both Wednesdays of the holidays.  Our funky Teina will be teaching special classes each Wednesday from 1.00pm to 3pm.  (Please feed the kids lunch before they arrive.)  They are all welcome to then stay on and join in Kids Club from 3pm to 5pm following the class if they would like. 

The first week, 24 September, we are making covered tins.  Class cost will be $20 including  material.The second week, 1 October, they have a choice between two kit layouts.  Class cost will be $25.00 including material.  If they wish to join in Kids Club, it will be $6.00 plus whatever material they use.

SPRING SCRAPATHON

We are holding our Spring Scrapathon on Saturday, 27 September from 10am till Midnight.  It will be lots of fun and we hope to see lots of you here.  We are having two sessions, from 10am till 5pm and then from 5pm till Midnight.  Both sessions will include meals, beverages, make 'n takes, a lucky door prize, demonstrations, free use of our tools and lots of scrapping time.  Our Design Team will be here to inspire and entertain you!  Each session costs $25 or come for the whole day for $40.00.  For catering purposes, we will need bookings by Thursday, 25 September.  Please phone Claire on 4092 4096 or email to book in or if you have any queries.

SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

Hi Everyone

We have just uploaded our September newsletter.  We have also added photos of our September MMM kits for you to have a look at.  We have also put in details of our next Creative Class coming up on Saturday, 20 September from 10am to 12pm.

NEW STOCK - Some new Cuttlebug embossing folders etc. have just arrived and we should have new Collections and Twiddleybitz stock in next week.
